My dream job would be to roll with the Young Money crew but if that doesn’t work out, I’d be happy working at a creative agency. I love playing sports and being active but I also have an unfortunate addiction to burgers: McDonald’s is my second home. I’m a not-so-secret Belieber (don’t judge), currently scheming how I can steal the cardboard cut-out from Shoppers. Serious Celtics fan, keeping my fingers crossed that the NBA lock-out will end soon. I’m a PC but I admit I own three ipods. Best thing about my university is definitely the campus: B-E-A-YOOTIFUL. After two years of taking Business Marketing in Victoria BC, I relocated to Calgary to study at Mount Royal University. After spending some time working and volunteering in my community I discovered my passion for Public Relations! I am entering my first year of the MRU PR program this fall and I couldn’t be more excited to begin my degree in a new major, while I continue to wrap up my Business diploma! I am working toward intermediate-level Spanish, and I also speak a little bit of Cantonese. I have a reputation for being a “gym junkie,” and lately my favorite way to sweat is training cross fit, and hot yoga. Being a product of the West Coast, I love hiking, and camping, and being outdoors! I began working for lululemon athletica this summer, and have since been inspired to start training for my first half-marathon! Explaining who Cameron Millar is can be difficult. This is not because I am an amazing, interesting, full of unbelievable facts kind of person; which I am. It is not because I have the attention span of a 5 year old……… Damn you www.stumbleupon.com! It is difficult for me to explain who I am because, well, I am really not sure yet. Many things have been said when people meet me. Good looking, hilarious, cunning, interesting, athletic, the list goes on but come on people I only have 200 words! So to cut to the core of who I am let me run down some awesome things that make up Cameron Millar. Since a young boy I have lived and breathed sports, (yeah that’s right oxygen is for softies). I am lobbying for Health Canada to make SportsCentre a part of a balanced breakfast, but I promised I’d leave politics out of this. I currently reside in the home of Politics in Canada, Ottawa, Ontario where I attend Carleton University. Some interesting and random facts about me are that I once ate a 32-ounce steak as part of a food challenge, I learned to surf at age 15 and I believe Kevin Costner might be one of the greatest actors of his generation (Have you seen The Postman? It’s like Water World but instead of searching for land he delivers the mail). One of the reasons why my Carleton experience has exceeded extraordinary proportions is because of my sorority—Tau Sigma Phi. Ever since I was a little kid, I’ve always been a fashion junkie and a travel bug. Since I have lived in numerous cities, all the moving has sparked my interest in learning about different cultures and their languages. My all-time favourite hobby is reading – my current obsession is the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling. Just recently I have started paddling for a dragon boat team again. I strive to do my best in it and always have fun…so far it’s working. No matter what I end up doing with my life, I hope to always inspire people and make them believe in themselves. Hi! I am a 3rd year student at McGill studying Marketing and Entrepreneurship. I’m originally from Toronto, thus I’m still finding the eternal rivalry between Montreal and Toronto slightly difficult to navigate! While I am a business student, my passions lie far from what’s written in my Stats textbook – I adore fashion and pop culture, and I find successful branding in fashion and television very interesting. Having interned at a fashion label, I’ve gained a whole new appreciation for clothing and the work that goes into defining aesthetic forms using everything from jersey to leather.
I also love to eat…whether it’s following a new recipe, or dining out at my favourite French bistro, I’m glad to be anyone’s food-buddy. Because I spend so much time perfecting my culinary skills, people are often surprised to find out I wrestled competitively in high school – which means I can put you in a pretty decent headlock if I wanted to!

My favourite bands are very cool indie/alternative groups like Foster the People, despite what the large amount of Savage Garden, Hanson, and Aqua tracks on my Ipod would suggest.
